Old Man Joe is in hospice care currently here at the rescue. He is our newest resident. He has terminal cancer and is living his days out care free and warm. He was rescued from an RV park in Red Bluff, CA. He was neglected with no access to food or water, left outside in all weather. We couldn’t let him stay there to suffer and die. He is such a good boy!
Bitsy was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern California. She only weighed 28 pounds, had pneumonia, and was not spayed. She was surrendered from a family that had her in a kennel in the backyard. She was used for breeding and very scared of people. She is now healthy, spayed, and weighs 40 pounds. She is a permanent resident at the farm due to possible future medical issues pertaining to her breed.
We rescued Saki from Mexico. He is currently around 11 years old and blind. He loves to sleep, bark at the air, and wrestle. help us feed him monthly! He is a permanent resident at the farm due to age and medical issues.
We just rescued 4 kids and 1 lamb from a meat farm in Central California. They were sick and not doing well! Help us pay for powdered milk to supplement their moms milk. They are between 4-7 weeks old and will require milk until 4 months of age.
Help us feed Moo! He is a rescued Emu from a breeding facility in Montague, CA. He was born with some features that aren’t considered okay for breeding. His beak is a little lop sided and his feet go in a bit. He is such a sweet boy!
